Obituary for Sheila Wilson

Sheila Wilson, 82, of Vineland (formerly of St. Catharines) passed away on April 26, 2016 in Grimsby, Ontario. She is missed by her husband Alex and children Doug, Bruce (Marie) and Sandra. Cherished wife, amazing mother, inspiring mentor, great friend, Sheila was born in Toronto, where she later graduated from Western Tech. Artistically blessed, Sheila's talents included painting, culinary creativity, floral design, interior décor, costume making and being a seamstress extraordinaire. She was an avid gardener and sports enthusiast and for many years was a behind-the-scenes supporter of rowing and figure skating in the community. Proud of her heritage, she had a wee bit o' the Irish cheek with family ties in Portadown and Belfast, Northern Ireland.




Mothers hold their children’s hands for just a while and their hearts forever.




As per Sheila’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no further arrangements are planned at this time.
