Obituary for Gurdev Kaur Takhar
The Takhar family is saddened to announce that Gurdev Kaur Takhar passed away
suddenly on March 21st, 2017 in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Gurdev Kaur (Grewal) Takhar spent much of her life as a homemaker and dedicated herself to her family, sharing
with them her determination,independence and tenacity in facing all aspects of her life. She was the daughter
of the late Bagga Singh Grewal from Gujarwal in India.
She is survived by her son Kelvin, daughter Jatinder, granddaughter Sarah and grandson Anish, as well as,
great grandson Aarav.
A private celebration of life memorial will be held in June and we ask all close friends and family to visit
this web site in the coming weeks for a date and time when the service will be scheduled.In lieu of flowers, please
donate generously to your own chosen charity.
In remembrance of Gurdev Kaur Takhar a celebration of life and traditional langar will be held in June.
The Takhar family invites you to join them on June 3rd, 2017 at 11 am to fondly remember our mom, especially those times shared with her in joy, and the memories that we treasure.
