Obituary for Joan Dyer
Dyer, Joan (nee Thomson)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother on Friday, February 9th in Her 75th year. With Her family by her side, Joan is now at peace in the arms of Our Lord. Joan was married to her beloved husband, Charles for 49 years. Loving and devoted mother of Scott, Paul and Brent. Also cherished by Diana and Samantha. Will be forever missed by her brothers in Scotland Tom (Jean) and David along with all Her extended Scottish family. Joan was loved deeply by Her sister-in-laws Lynda(John), Shirley(Clay) and Norine(Armand). Joan had many nieces and nephews who thought the world of Her and Joan will be forever thankful for her special friends Angela and Sharon. Joan was a vibrant member of the nursing and retirement community. She brought with Her a unique energy which touched many peoples lives in a very positive way. Through Joans career, she was often remembered by families for Her kindness and diligence towards her patients care. Joans wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. For those who wish, a donation can be made to the Lung Association.
