Obituary for Larry Hanrahan

HANRAHAN, Larry 1946-2018 Peacefully on March 8, 2018, Larry, beloved husband of Judy (nee Harrison), proud father of Jennifer Roche and Jeremy (Michelle), passed away after his short but courageous battle. Cherished papa of Ava, Aylish, Ashley and Dylan, beloved son of the late Joseph and Jessie Hanrahan and predeceased by his sister Jayne Mesaglio (Silvio). Larry retired from ArcelorMittal Dofasco in 2005 and was thoroughly enjoying his retirement years. A heartfelt thank you for the excellent care Dr. C.R. Morris and her staff provided to Larry during this difficult time. To Dr. D. Dath and his staff thank you for all your efforts. To LHIN and St. Joseph's Homecare, we are so grateful for all of your help in keeping Larry at home with us for as long as we could. We so appreciate our dear friends and family who were there for us every step of the way, Larry appreciated and loved you all so much. Larry passed away at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. There are not enough words to express the love and compassion that was shown to Larry and our family in the short time he was there. Staff and volunteers went above and beyond our expectations and for that we will be forever grateful, this hospice to us, will always be our little piece of heaven on earth. As per Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If so desired memorial donations in Larry's name may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice and would greatly be appreciated by the family. A kiss to keep my love.
