COMFORT, Karl Evan Entered into rest after a valiant fight, on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Dunnville War Memorial Hospital, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of 46 years, to Beverley (nee Warren). Loving father to Patricia Comfort (Jack), Kimberly Jacob (Jeff) and Karl Comfort Jr. Dearest grandfather to Johnathan and Evan Jacob. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Ethel Comfort and brothers Grant and Gary. Karl will be missed by his sisters, Gaylyn and Cheryl, brothers Ben and Rob as well as his nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his many friends and "bus buddies". The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Juravinski Hospital as well as the doctors and nurses at the Dunnville War Memorial Hospital. A very, very special heart felt thank you to Dr. Beth Blake for her care of Karl and assistance in facilitating his last wish. Per Karl's request, cremation has taken place and an immediate family only celebration for the scattering of his ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity or the Canadian Cancer Society greatly appreciated.
