Condolence From: Erik Joosten
Condolence: Dear family of Denise,
You don't know me, but I knew Denise. I am the owner of a Dutch company and worked in the past with Denise during her time at Sigvaris. Denise was one of the true believers of our products and built a base for our sales in Canada. I remember many sales meetings we had all over Canada (Montreal, Banf, Saskatoon) and I remember especially Denises' sense of humor and 'no-nonsense' mentality. Man, I looked always forward to travel to Canada for these meetings. Took most of the times more than 12 hours of traveling but it worth the while. I am very sorry to find out that Denise died last year! Keep up the good memories of a very good woman! I'll do! Erik Joosten CEO Arion-group

Condolence: Denise, I will never forget the first time we met
I was applying for a job with Sigvaris and the hotel did not tell you I had arrived early and was waiting and waiting—
Once you discovered I was there and the hotel messed up
You quickly took charge—told me we only had 10 minutes—so let’s make the best of it..........
It worked and by jingo!!! You hired me and changed my life!
You knew how you wanted things done, a proven method and you insisted on excellence and you lead by example
And might I say, you taught me and the rest of the sales team across Canada, the right way—making Sigvaris Canada a pillar market in record time
Such fun
Such a GREAT experience
Those years with you were the best I ever had in my working life and PLENTY great in my personal life
Rosebud (my nickname for you) you lead the way
Always on my team, even after you left to pursue another career
Always great guidance
Always wise council—Always wanting the best for me
Always my Friend—my fabulous Friend
You became a big part of my family, known and loved by all
Over the years through all the ups and downs for both of us, you had a steady hand on the tiller
My last visit to see you in the hospital, we laughed, I cried, and oh boy—we drank a bottle of Veuve Cliquot—just like the old days ( only 1 this time )
Even very ill you lead the way
As I left you for the last time, we both knew it was the last time, as usual I cried
You looked at me, and believe me I KNOW that look!!!
You said “There is no crying in Baseball”
Tom Hanks could not have done it better—I started to laugh—and so did you
A fitting close to a simply spectacular Friendship
Love you like a sister –Sister
All my love and respect Rosebud—your Winger –Sunflower –AKA—Barbie

Condolence: Denise was my boss for six years when we were both mature adults. She treated her employees with respect and always drove us to be the best we could be. She always celebrated our accomplishments and encouraged us supportingly in our failures. She taught by example travelling constantly and tirelessly across the country to help us maximize our, and the company's, potential. We worked hard but played just as hard! I will never forget the annual meetings where her untiring planning, awards and hugs made us feel more like we were at a family reunion than a sales meeting.
Denise was a special one-of-a-kind person whom I will remember fondly. She fought her battle the way she lived life: with tenacity, grace, courage and perseverance. May she rest in peace.
Rex, you have Allan's and my most heartfelt condolences.

Condolence: Loved ones live on in words they said, in lives they touched, and in the happiness we feel every time we remember them. We will always remember Denise sitting in her favourite place on your front porch and always offering a smile and a wave from across the street. Rex, may it help to know that we are thinking of you and your families with deepest sympathy and heartfelt understanding.

Condolence: You have left us on earth but you will never be forgotten. I have been so fortunate to have had such a beautiful, quick witted, biggest heart in the world and life long friend. Neecy, you have been taken from us much too soon...I miss our banter, your tell it like it is manner, reminiscing, your laugh and your friendship..I so admire your love and appreciation of Rex and all the support he has been to you. The dignity and sense of humour you demonstrated throughout your battle, and heartfelt concern for each of us as we anguished for you, is an example of courage and class that is a model to us all. I am happy that your suffering is now over. I picture you joyfully singing your Sinatra and song favourites as you fly with the Angels. ...I love and miss you my dear old friend..
